  • Cold Water: You can try the cold water or ice cubes trick too. Fill a bucket with cold water, and soak your hands in it for around 15 minutes. Then rub and peel off the adhesive.
  • Warm Water: Take a cotton ball and some warm water. Soak it the cotton balls in the warm water. Then rub your skin with this cotton ball. The glue will come off easily.
  • Oil or Petroleum jelly: Using oil is another good option. It breaks the adhesion of glue that is stuck to the skin. Just apply a thick layer of oil on your hand, let it sit for 30 seconds, and then gently rub it on your skin for 2-3 minutes. The glue will come off with the oil or petroleum jelly.
  • White Vinegar: You may go with white vinegar; it removes glue straightaway. In addition, it works well to remove nail varnish too. The use is simple- simply mix equal amounts of warm water and vinegar. Then apply the mixture on hand-skin with clean, dry cotton balls. Let the balls sit for 5 or 10 minutes until glue residues peel off. This will cause no harm to your nails at all.
  • Glue Remover: If any of the above methods do not work, you will need a stronger solution- using professional adhesive remover. And your best bet will probably be an alcohol-based remover that removes nail glues without side effects.

How to Get Nail Glue Out of Clothes?

Nail glue can leave white spots on clothes and you might find it difficult to clean. To remove the nail glue from clothes, follow the steps below:

  • Use an acetone solution as it effectively breaks the bond of the glue.
  • Apply the acetone to each spot of nail glue and rub until you see no residue substance left behind.
  • Regular clothes washing with detergent also works well to detach the adhesive.
